CAMPS

CAMP LIFE

Upon arrival at each camp, every runner will receive water, isotonic drinks, fruit, a welcome sandwich, and a wristband that will determine their dinner time:.
– Azules de 19:30 h a 20:15 h
– Verdes de 20:15 h a 21:00 h
– Naranja de 21:00 h a 21:45 h
These wristbands will be used at both camps.

RUNNER’S BAG, 1.5-LITER WATER BOTTLE AND WASTE BAG

Before heading to your tent, you must collect your runner’s bag and a agua de 1,5 l Eco de los Andes water bottle to use throughout the day at the camp. 

They will also receive a trash bag to ensure that, upon departure the next day, they leave the tent area in the best possible condition.

TENTS

The day before Stage 1 starts you will receive your tent number. This number is not the same as your runner number. sepan su número de carpa al llegar al campamento to quickly locate it, drop off your bag, and start camp life.
The tents accommodate two people but there is an option to rent an individual tent.This can be selected when completing the Runners Form

RELAX AND ENJOY THE CAMP

At the camps, you will find various areas and services to refresh and recover after each stage. You will be able to put your legs in the lake and hire massage services and/or pressotherapy boots. You can drink mate, chat with other runners, watch photos and daily video highlights on the screen, and enjoy a camp hidden in some of the most beautiful places in Patagonia.

GPS OR PHONE CHARGING

The Organization will provide GPS and/or phone charging service, and each runner will have 1 hour to charge their device. It is essential to bring your charger and adapter, labeled with your runner number.

LUNCH

You will be able to have lunch from the moment you arrive at the camp until 4:30 pm or 30 minutes after the last runner arrives.

AFTERNOON SNACK

Snacks will be available from 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm. You will also have hot water for mate.

DINNER

Dinner will be served in 45-minute shifts, depending on the order of arrival in Stage 1, and will be identified by a wristband. We kindly ask you to respect these shifts and the assigned time to eat.

BREAKFAST

Breakfast will be available from 6:00 am. Please remember to bring your own thermal mug to drink coffee, tea, or mate cocido.

BAG HANDOVER TO THE ORGANIZATION

After having breakfast, organizing and cleaning your tent, you must hand in your bags to the Organization’s trucks.

CLASSIFICATION TENT

During the afternoon, you must collect the ticket indicating the starting order for the next stage.

In the afternoon, you can enjoy a summary video of the completed stage with the best images of the course.

SLEEP

Rest is essential to recover energy and fully enjoy the next stage. For this reason, 22:00 hs comienza el horario de silencio during which loud noises are prohibited within the camp. ¡Es fundamental el respeto entre todos! Please avoid talking in your tent after this time, as conversations can be clearly heard.

STARTS  

The starts will be according to the classification order detailed on the ticket collected the previous afternoon. It is mandatory to have this ticket in order to enter the starting area.

At breakfast you will find hot water for mate, hot infusions, bread, butter, jam, dulce de leche, quince paste, fruits, and different products from our sponsors. REMEMBER TO BRING YOUR OWN THERMAL MUG.

LUNCHES AND DINNERS
Tanto en los almuerzos como en las cenas encontrarán agua (Eco de los Andes), gaseosa, cerveza, asado de distintos cortes de Carne Argentina (Vació y Colita), pollo, verduras, ensaladas, pastas, arroz con verduras, lentejas, pan y frutas. CONTARÁN CON 1 BEBIDA INCLUIDA POR COMIDA. The Organization offers options for vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free diets.Participants withelíacos o con intolerancia al gluten will be contacted and informed about available options. However, it is recommended that participants make personal arrangements for any specific dietary needs not covered by the Organization. CELIACOS: VER INFO

TENTS

The day before the start of Stage 1, that is, the packet pickup day, you will receive your tent number, which does not match your runner number. It is important to know your tent number upon arriving at the camp to quickly locate it, leave your bag, and prepare to start camp life.

The organization will provide you at the camp with a T-shirt-style waste bag so that, when leaving the next day, you can leave the tent in the best possible condition.

Those who want an individual tent may rent one as an additional service when completing the form. At that time, you may also choose to add an inflatable mattress, among other items.

If you are participating with friends, family, or teammates, you have the option to request that your group’s tents be located together in the camp, regardless of whether they are individual or shared. To do this, in the form you must create a group identification code made up of two letters and two numbers (for example: AB12) and share it only among the members of the group. Then, each person must enter it in the form when completing their data.

ADDITIONAL SERVICES IN CAMPS

MASSAGES

In both camps, you can book massage services to aid post-race recovery. This service can be selected when completing the size form or during accreditation at Cerro Catedral.

RECOVERY BOOTS

In both camps, recovery boots will be available for 20-minute sessions. This service can be selected when completing the form and, if available, booked at the camp.

WITHDRAWALS AT CAMPS

Runners who decide to withdraw must notify the Information Tent before 9:00 pm in order to be transferred to Cerro Catedral. From the moment the Organization transfers a participant under these circumstances, any hotel, meal, and/or medical expenses outside the camp will be the participant’s responsibility. The runner’s bag of the participant returning to Cerro Catedral will arrive at 9:00 pm on the day of withdrawal. Please note that the Organization will not have a vehicle available to transport participants immediately to the camp or to Cerro Catedral.

Todos los corredores deberán informar su condición alimentaria mediante el formulario correspondiente. Deberán seleccionar: 

Opción A: Recibirán alimentación preparada en campamento, que si bien se toman medidas los mismos pueden tener contaminación cruzada. (Importante: Pueden utilizarse utensilios que hayan estado en contacto con TACC, las carnes son asadas en parrilla donde se pudo haber calentado pan con TACC).

Opción B: Celíacos que no toleran la contaminación cruzada o cualquier mínimo contacto con Gluten. En este caso no tendrán acceso a la comida del campamento, ya que recibirán viandas certificadas sin TACC para el almuerzo y cena . Quienes elijan esta opción figuraran en un listado que les dará acceso a las viandas en campamentos y productos seleccionados en los Oasis.

En ambos casos recibirán una pulsera amarilla que deberán utilizar durante toda la carrera.
