RACE RULES<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

All runners must comply with the following rules:<\/b><\/p>

  1. The <\/span>three stages are mandatory<\/b>, todos los corredores deber\u00e1n participar de las tres etapas sin excepci\u00f3n. Quien no largue en la Etapa 1 o Etapa 2, quedar\u00e1 autom\u00e1ticamente descalificado, sin posibilidad\u00a0 de participar de las siguientes etapas ni acceder a los campamentos.\u00a0<\/span><\/li>
  2. The <\/span>bib number must be visible<\/b> at all times.<\/span><\/li>
  3. Runners must <\/span>have the required equipment with them in all stages<\/b> of the race.<\/span><\/li>
  4. It is <\/span>prohibited the use of ropes<\/b> not originally part of the backpack to pull your partner or another participant.<\/span><\/li>
  5. It is <\/span>prohibited for competitors in the race to be assisted<\/b> by external help.<\/span><\/li>
  6. It is<\/span> prohibited to physically or verbally abuse<\/b> any member of the organization staff.<\/span><\/li>
  7. During the race<\/span>, a runner can only overtake another runner on the left and by announcing it in advance.<\/b><\/li>
  8. Those who are ahead of the runners trying to overtake them must <\/span>give way<\/b>.<\/span><\/li>
  9. Failure to comply with any of these rules may result in <\/span>penalties or disqualification of the runner<\/b>.<\/span><\/li>
  10. The <\/span>race bag<\/b> debe ser entregado en el d\u00eda anterior a la largada en el lugar\u00a0 y horario determinado por la organizaci\u00f3n, en caso de no cumplir y la organizaci\u00f3n pueda transportarlo tendr\u00e1 una multa de USD 15 (quince d\u00f3lares).     TIME LIMITS AND CUT-OFF POINTS\n<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
    \n\t\t\t\t
    \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

    The Organization will set time limits to complete each stage, ensuring safety and orderly competition development. Based on these times, specific cut-off points will be defined, which will be <\/span>final and mandatory.<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>

    Each stage will have a pre-established cut-off point, occurring after 70% of the stage. Additional cut-offs may be implemented based on the time limit and elevation gain.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

    For this edition, the time limit will be <\/span>15 minutes per kilometer,<\/b> and the organization may extend this time in case of bad weather (previous rains, storms, mud, snow) or bottlenecks.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

    Runners reaching cut-off points after the established time will not be allowed to continue the stage. They must stop and may be transported by the organization to the Camp. This transport will incur a fee to avoid complaints about waiting times.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

    Runners who do not reach the cut-off point on time will receive an alternative medal, as the official El Cruce 2026 medal will be exclusive for those who complete all three stages.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

    Participants who fail to reach the cut-off point for any reason will be considered as withdrawn. (See more information in the following section)<\/span><\/p>

    If you believe you cannot meet this requirement, we suggest preparing for next year's edition or participating in La Etapa, which offers distances of 15 km and 33 km.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

    It is very important to arrive at the race in excellent physical condition and mentally prepared for the challenge over the 3 days.<\/span><\/p>

    Withdrawals during Stages:<\/i><\/b>
    <\/i><\/b>Quienes por X motivos no lleguen al punto de corte preestablecidos por la organizaci\u00f3n, en cualquiera de las etapas.\u00a0 O bien quienes decidan no continuar el recorrido, lo que podr\u00e1n hacer en los puestos de control que dispongan traslados de la organizaci\u00f3n o trasladarse por sus propios medios a Cerro Catedral (salvo que se encuentren imposibilitados de hacerlo).\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

    Withdrawals at Camps:<\/i><\/b>
    <\/i><\/b>Runners who decide not to start Stage 2 or Stage 3 must notify the Information Tent in order to be transferred to Cerro Catedral.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

    For both withdrawal scenarios:
    <\/b>Please note that the Organization will not have an immediate vehicle available to transfer runners to Cerro Catedral, and long waiting times may occur.\u00a0
    <\/span>The runner\u2019s bag will be available at Cerro Catedral from 7:00 pm onwards.
    <\/span>Accommodation and food expenses will be the participant's responsibility.\u00a0
    <\/span>Withdrawn participants will NOT receive the El Cruce medal.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

    TERMS AND CONDITIONS<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

    Notwithstanding the mandatory medical certificate required by the organization, each participant registers under their own responsibility and is the only one to judge the convenience of participating in the competition and continuing, with full knowledge of the risks that the development of the competition may entail. They release the organizer and sponsoring company in advance from all criminal and civil liability in the event of bodily and material accidents that may occur during <\/span>El Cruce.<\/b>
    <\/b>The Organization reserves the right, after consulting with the medical staff, to prohibit a competitor or team, both from starting the competition and, if necessary, continuing it, if in the Organization's opinion there is a risk to their health. In case of injuries, the Organization will be responsible for transfers to the nearest hospital. All expenses for medications, additional transfers, hospitalizations, and surgical interventions will be the responsibility of the participant\/runner. The organization is not responsible for the behavior of competitors or teams that do not respect the laws of Argentina.<\/span>
    <\/span>The images obtained during the competition may be used by the Club de Corredores and sponsoring companies for the purpose of promoting and advertising the event and\/or associated products. Competitors who agree to participate in EL CRUCE will not have the right to make claims. The Organization has full powers to shorten the course for participants who are behind the race average.<\/span><\/p>

    Runners who wish to hire logistics services will do so through the Organization as an intermediary. <\/span>
    <\/span>Aquellos interesados en inscribirse en El Cruce abonando \u00fanicamente el costo de inscripci\u00f3n, sin incluir los servicios de log\u00edstica, deber\u00e1n contratar dichos servicios externamente, a trav\u00e9s de las empresas proveedoras designadas por la organizaci\u00f3n. Adem\u00e1s, ser\u00e1 necesario verificar estos servicios con el \u00e1rea administrativa correspondiente. Es importante que tengan todos los servicios contratados a fin de no tener inconvenientes en la monta\u00f1a .<\/span><\/p>
